Family
Matthew 19:4–6
He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Finances
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Wisdom
Proverbs 1:7: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Job 28:28: “Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to turn away from evil is understanding.

Debt
Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Proverbs 22:26-27
Do not shake hands in pledge or put up security for debts; if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.
Marriage
Genesis 2:24: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” (ESV) –
Matthew 19:6: “So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (NIV)
Fasting
Matthew 6:16-18 –
“And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that others may see their fasting. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
Government
1 Timothy 2:1-4(NIV)
2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
